Browser Extension Installation & Pinning Guide

BeeCai (小蜂) is a lightweight, smart web data scraping extension built for cross-border e-commerce, market research, and business intelligence. Once installed, you can visually select web elements and export structured data into Excel/CSV with one click — no coding required.

Offline Installation Steps (Fast & straightforward local load):

1. Type chrome://extensions (or edge://extensions in Edge) into your browser address bar and press Enter.
2. Toggle ON the "Developer mode" switch located in the top-right corner.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded beecai.crx file directly into the center of the extensions page, then confirm "Add extension".
4. If your browser prevents direct CRX dragging, rename the file extension from .crx to .zip, extract it into a folder, and click "Load unpacked" in the top-left corner to select the folder.

Pin to Browser Toolbar

To trigger BeeCai instantly on any webpage, pin its icon to your browser's top toolbar:

• Open Extensions Menu: Click the "Extensions (puzzle piece)" icon in the top-right corner of your browser.
• Find BeeCai: In the drop-down list of installed extensions, locate "小蜂智能采集" (BeeCai).
• Click the Pin Icon: Click the "Pin" icon on the right so it turns blue. The BeeCai icon will now stay pinned to your toolbar.

First Launch & Quick Login

Open any target webpage (such as Amazon product search, e-commerce listings, or social media pages):

• Dual Launch Methods: Click the BeeCai icon in your top-right browser toolbar, or click the floating BeeCai widget on the right edge of any page. The smart scraping sidebar will slide open.
• One-Click Sync Login: When opening the sidebar for the first time, click "Open Login Page". Once logged in on the website, the extension will instantly sync to the authenticated state.
• Start Scraping Immediately: After login, the sidebar will automatically match pre-built templates for the current site. You can also click "AI Smart Table Detection" or visually select elements.
